From Atheism to Faith: A Divine Encounter
Once a committed atheist, although a seeker of truth, I experienced a life-changing encounter that redefined my destiny. In 1976, in a moment of blinding light, Jesus appeared to me and simply said audibly, “Follow Me.” That powerful call sparked a journey from disbelief to unwavering faith.
The next year, I experienced another encounter where the audible voice of God said,
” Go around the world and tell people Jesus loves them and is coming soon”.
I am still fulfilling that call in any way that God opens the door to.
A Journey from Protestant Pastor to Catholic Convert
Ordained as a Protestant pastor in Australia in 1980, I served in ministry for years before my spiritual path led me to the Catholic Church. Embracing Catholicism enriches my theological understanding and deepens my connection to the Christian tradition. Today, I share my conversion story as a testament to God’s grace and guidance.
Academic and Professional Excellence
Paula is not only spiritually grounded but academically accomplished. Her credentials include:

She is also a proud life member of the International Society of Female Professionals (ISFP), recognised for her leadership and impact.
Mission
I am deeply committed to serving my local church, where I am a catechist. I am a former Pastor with over 40 years of experience and now a Catholic Christian. It is a huge privilege to have been invited and called to the vocation of a diocesan catechist.
As a Diocesan Mentor, I share in the Church’s mission to fulfil Christ’s command to “go and teach all nations”, helping others develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through teaching, encouragement, and witness, I seek to foster a deeper understanding of the faith, inspire ongoing conversion, and nurture a genuine love for Christ and His Church.
I also have the privilege of leading a Church Bereavement Group offering comfort and support to those in grief. Beyond my local ministry, I share the message of Christ through my Christian YouTube channel, blog, and write faith-based books that uplift and inspire believers globally.
Statement of Faith
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial of one Being with the Father.
Through him, all things were made. For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day, he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
